Salary Range: $34.11 to $38.55 Gross per hour

About the Role

The position will report to the Executive Manager Building & Planning and has the primary purpose of providing administrative support to the Building & Planning team.

The team has responsibility for the delivery of various functions to the 30 schools within the Diocese of Cairns including planning and delivery of capital building projects, oversight and management of capital projects, facility management, maintenance of school facilities and staff housing including in remote regional locations.

Work Requirements

  • Experience in providing high level administrative support to individual or teams and knowledge of various administration functions. 
  • Intermediate to advanced computer literacy skills and knowledge Microsoft Office applications.
  • Organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadline.
  • Hold current driver's licence. 
  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card.
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
  • A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education.
