Salary Range: $29.77 to $31.04 Gross per hour

About the Role

  • To record student absences on e-Minerva & generate Activities and Awards on e-Minerva
  • Follow up with teaching staff regarding roll marking
  • To maintain class rolls and distribute notices each morning
  • To phone/SMS parents who have not phoned to confirm their son’s absenteeism
  • To liaise and follow up with Heads of Year and Boarding Supervisors regarding students who are absent
  • Correspond with parents both verbally and via email to follow up requests for absences
  • To liaise with the College Nurse regarding students in the Health & Wellbeing Centre
  • To maintain a record of student absences as approved by the Principal
  • Enter all requests for Student Absence by parents into spreadsheet for tracking and file

Work Requirements

  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
  • The ability to comply with the Chief Health Officer’s COVID 19 vaccination directive
