Newman Catholic College is seeking applications for a Senior English and Study of Religion teacher to join their growing College community.

Contract Dates: Monday 17 August 2026 to Friday 9 October 

Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term

Salary Range: Graduate $86,600 to Lead Teacher $147,048 FTE gross per annum plus 12.75% Superannuation

Newman Catholic College is Catholic Education Diocese of Cairns newest secondary school. The College comprises state-of-the-art facilities situated within James Cook University, Cairns.   • willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and achievement 

Teachers are accountable to and under the direction of the College Principal.
