Salary Range: Services Staff Level 3- $34.17 to $35.62 gross per hour PLUS 12.75% Superannuation

Newman Catholic College, co-located on James Cook University site, Smithfield, is Cairns Catholic Education’s newest college, joining a system of 29 other catholic schools and colleges. Opened in 2022 and growing a year level each year until Year 12 is reached in 2027, its location on and interaction with the University presents endless opportunities to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. Newman Catholic College works collaboratively with James Cook University so that learning and teaching is enhanced at all year levels.
The primary responsibility of the Uniform Shop Convenor is to coordinate the smooth running of the Uniform Shop, providing high quality customer service to parents, students, and staff of the College from Year 7 to Year 12 and ensuring students are able to obtain and wear correct and appropriate school uniform at all times.
The Uniform Shop Convenor, who is designated as in charge of the Uniform Shop, will work with limited supervision under the direction of the Business Manager. The Uniform Shop Convenor may, if required, directly supervise other employees. At the end of the year and before school starts at ‘Back to School’ time, the Uniform Shop Convenor may be required to work additional hours
