Contract Dates: Term 2 start - 22nd April 2025 (earlier start date possible)
Employment Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Middle Leader Position - 3 years (This position holds a full-time, permanent substantive Teaching position)
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience -
Graduate $84,077 - Proficient 4 $104,841 FTE gross per annum, plus applicable Middle Leader Tier 2C allowance $15,799 gross per annum FTE OR
Proficient 5 and above: $136,892 FTE gross per annum

MacKillop Catholic College, a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. The College has developed progressively, adding additional year levels annually, and commenced secondary education in 2020 with Year 7, and the first Year 12 cohort graduating in 2025. The role of the Leader - Head of Year is to support the mission of the school through leadership in the support of students as school and family community members. The role covers elements of leadership, management and community building including parent engagement.
