Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - Graduate $86,600 to Proficient 8 $124,724 FTE Gross per annum, plus 3 POL Points ($9,768 per annum FTE) and 12.75% super

MacKillop Catholic College, a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College located in the growing southern corridor of Cairns, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes. The College has developed progressively, adding additional year levels annually, and commenced secondary education in 2020 with Year 7, and the first Year 12 cohort graduated in 2025. The role of Primary Position of Leadership – Religious Education and Pedagogy is to support the vision and mission of the school through leadership of learning and teaching. This involves leading the development of appropriate pedagogy and assessment in line with national and local requirements. This will involve:
The PoL – Religious Education and Pedagogy reports to the Deputy Principal – Identity and Outreach and Deputy Principal Primar as Line Managers. PoL – Religious Education and Pedagogy provides vision, inspiration, encouragement and assistance to all members of their team, particularly Early Career Teachers.
