Salary Range: $80,318 to $90,675 Gross per annum

About the Role

The Administration Officer works within the Engagement Wellbeing & Learning Directorate of Catholic Education, with the primary focus of the role providing administrative support to personnel and directorate functions/processes to support service delivery to schools.  

The purpose of the Administration Officer role is to create order, stability and consistency by collaboratively managing and leading system structures and agreed processes and bring knowledge, wisdom and insight and strengthen relationships.

Whilst a number of Engagement Wellbeing & Learning staff work directly out of the office, the Administration Officer will also support  School Counsellors based in schools across the Diocese. 

Work Requirements

  • Min 3 years' experience in providing high level administrative support to individual or teams;
  • Qualification in business-relevant discipline equivalent to certificate level and knowledge of administration functions;
  • Advanced, written and verbal communication skills;
  • Adept computer literacy and related technology with extensive experience of Microsoft Office suite;
  • Organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines;
  • Possession of a current/valid Queensland Driver’s Licence;
  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card;
  • A strong demonstrated commitment to the objectives, vision and ethos of Catholic Education
  • Eligibility to work within Australia for the period of this appointment.
