Tuckshop Assistant

MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter is seeking applications for a casual Tuckshop Assistant to join their growing College community in 2026.

Commencement Date: 9th February 2026 (negotiable)

Employment Types:  Casual 

Salary Range: Service Staff Schedule Level 1 - casual rate $38.97 to $40.21 gross per hour + 12.75% super

Closing Date for Applications: 12.00pm, Friday 13th February 2026 (unless filled prior)

MacKillop Catholic College, Mount Peter

MacKillop Catholic College (www.mackillopcatholiccollege.qld.edu.au), a master-planned Prep to Year 12 College, was established in 2016 with Prep-Year 3 classes.  The College will progressively develop by year levels and the first Year 12 cohort graduating in 2025. About the Role

The Tuckshop Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Tuckshop Convenor and Business Manager.

Typical duties performed may include, but are not limited to:

• Retrieving orders from online ordering facility – My School Connect;
• Preparing morning tea and lunch orders for students, staff and guests;
• Counter sales;
• Checking of goods received against order and delivery dockets - inventory
• Keeping tuckshop area clean and well maintained;
• Keeping temperature checks and assisting with stock control;
• Replenishing stock on of shelves, fridges and racks;
• Cash handling and end of day reconciliation;
• Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety requirements in the tuckshop environment;
• Maintain appropriate behaviours when engaging with children;
• Attending to all duties without direction from the Tuckshop Convenor.

  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
