Salary Range:  Services Staff Level 1 from $31.18 to $32.17 per hour plus 12.75% Superannuation

Good Counsel College is a small, but growing, Catholic co-educational secondary school with a strong sense of community and pride that offers a quality and holistic educational experience for students in Years 7-12. It operates under the auspices of the Catholic Diocese of Cairns and enjoys collaborative partnerships with Catholic Primary schools in Tully, South Johnstone, Silkwood, Innisfail and Babinda whilst also welcoming students from state and other schools who are seeking a Catholic education for their children and who share our values.

About the Role

The successful applicant will work outside official school hours to perform a range of cleaning tasks to a high standard to ensure a clean, hygienic and safe environments for staff and students. The position follows established routines and procedures, works under direct or routine supervision, and involves no supervisory duties. Working independently, the incumbent will be required to clean classrooms and indoor areas as well as some outdoor areas.
