Position 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

These positions hold substantive permanent teaching positions within Catholic Education, Diocese of Cairns.
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience - $86,600 to $147,048 FTE Gross per annum + 3POL Points ($9,773.05 Gross p.a)

St Gerard Majella School is a co-educational Catholic primary school in the Cairns southern suburb of Woree. With a healthy enrolment of around 400 students from Prep to Year Six, the school has always been a highly regarded and well-sought-after Catholic primary school.

The Leaders of Diversity will work within whole-school initiatives to enhance inclusive teaching and learning practices. They support teachers in identifying and responding to diverse learning needs and contribute to improved educational outcomes through guidance, collaboration, and the development of effective support strategies and programs.
The Leaders of Diversity are active members of the School Leadership Team and contribute to the implementation of the School's Strategic and Annual Improvement Plans. Through leadership, collaboration, and professional support, the LoD helps strengthen inclusive practices across the school.
The Leaders of Diversity report directly to the Principal and work under their guidance and direction. The role involves close collaboration with teachers to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching strategies that address individual student needs. The LoD also liaises with parents, external specialists, and therapists to support student learning and wellbeing. The position attracts points for the successful applicants.
