Hours: As per the Agreement 
Salary Range: Commensurate with experience: 
Graduate $86,600 - Proficient 4 $107,988 FTE Gross per annum, plus Middle Leader Tier 2 allowance $13,026 gross per annum  
OR 
Proficient 5 and above: $137,750 FTE Gross per annum

Good Counsel College is a small, but growing, Catholic co-educational secondary school with a strong sense of community and pride that offers a quality and holistic educational experience for students in Years 7-12. About the Role

The role of the Learning Leader - English is to support the mission of the school through leadership of the learning and teaching program of English. This involves collaborating with teaching staff to develop appropriate curriculum in line with national, state and local requirements; ensuring that appropriate pedagogies are developed and implemented at all levels; ensuring the quality of student learning and the effectiveness of teacher practice through appropriate supervision and guidance; utilising thorough analysis of current data to inform decisions; developing appropriate partnerships within and outside of the school; and prudently administering available resources.
 
It also involves working collaboratively with key staff, particularly the Wellbeing Leaders to manage student engagement in all areas of college life.
