Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School is located in the beautiful Torres Straits with two campuses on Thursday Island and Hammond Island. Our Thursday Island Campus caters for Prep to Year 6, while our Hammond Island campus is for Prep to Year 3 with older students catching a daily ferry to the TI campus. We celebrate our remote location and Indigenous culture. The faith, life and values of the people of the Torres Strait are acknowledged through our learning environment.
We are currently inviting applications for an enthusiastic Tuckshop Convenor to support our busy tuckshop. The Convenor will manage all the functions of the Tuckshop to ensure the provision of high quality, freshly prepared food and drinks whilst providing a high level of customer service in the School's tuckshop. This includes, but is not limited to, being responsible for the planning of menus, purchase and ordering of food and supplies and ensuring compliance to food safety and equipment maintenance standards.
