Employment Type: Part Time, Term Time - 15 hours per week

Salary Range: School Officer Level 5 - $39.44 gross per hour

The Defence School Mentor (DSM) contract position relies on approval of ongoing funding at the end of each financial year. The College does not envisage any changes to our ongoing funding but continuing contracts will be issued as funding is approved.

About the Role

The Defence School Mentor (DSM) role provides specialised, on-site support to meet the needs of Defence students and their families within the school community. The DSM will deliver a program designed to provide practical assistance to Defence families and support the social and emotional wellbeing of Defence students within their schools. The role is funded by the Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) Branch, of the Commonwealth Department of Defence wellbeing and student support team.
