Salary Range: Services Staff Level 3- $34.17 to $35.62 gross per hour

About the Role

To be an integral, proactive and efficient member of the College Operations Team. Your duties will be split between setting up and supporting College events, non-trade qualified maintenance tasks and general repairs and grounds keeping.

A typical day will be varied, calling on your flexibility, organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure that works are carried out correctly first time, allowing the Team to deliver the best service to support the operations of St Mary’s Catholic College.

Duties may take the form of broad guidance and involve the level of autonomy when working in teams. Your ability to use your initiative when working alone and also in a team is required to deliver the best outcomes. Duties are performed under limited supervision and may be checked in relation to overall progress.

An employee in this position may have limited responsibility for guidance of the work of others. Peer assistance may be provided to others. Team co-ordination may be required.

Work Requirements

  • Hold a Working with Children Blue Card
  • Current C class drivers licence and Medium Rigid Licence to drive the college 33-seater bus
  • Trade or equivalent qualifications / experience relevant to the position may be required or such knowledge, qualifications and experience that are deemed by the employer as necessary to successfully carry out the duties of the position
  • Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education
