The College is situated in the central business district of Cairns, one block from the Cairns Esplanade. St Monica's is the oldest school in the region, with rich heritage and Mercy traditions. St Monica's College is seeking applications for a term-time, permanent Food & Textiles Technology Assistant to join their college.
The successful applicant is to assist the classroom teacher and the Design Technologies Department as required. General departmental tasks include but are not limited to ordering/shopping, invoicing, preparation and set up of kitchen for practical classes, cutting out and assistance and support in textile practical classes.
The Food and Textiles Technology Aide must possess computer literacy skills; be able to sew and use a range of sewing machines/overlockers and be comfortable with cooking and food preparation.
